It also became the first car to go into solar production. Many companies were working on this project for many years, but success has now been found by the startup Lightyear Company. The company says that this car will be able to cover a distance of up to 700 km. At the same time, the company can start the delivery of this car in November this year.

Will last months without charging

According to the company’s claim, it took six years to build this solar car. From the engineering testing of the car to the development, design, and testing of the prototype of the car. Also, the company says that in the months when there is good sunlight, there will be no need to charge the car for months.
Battery Pack

The power pack of the Lightyear Zero Solar car uses a 60 kWh battery pack. Which is capable of giving the car the power of 174 hp. This car will give a huge range of 625 km on a single charge. For solar power in this car, a 5 square meter double curved solar panel has been installed in the car. With the help of panels, the range of this car increases to an additional range of about 70 km. Due to this, the overall range of this car becomes 695 km.

Worth

Talking about the price of the Light Year Zero car, it will be kept at around Rs 2 crore. Because this car will compete with Tesla’s car.
