In the Indian market, Ducati India has introduced the new superbike Monster SP. The Ducati Monster series’ most expensive model is this one. The ex-showroom cost of a Ducati Monster SP in India is 15.95 lakh rupees. The business has begun taking reservations, and deliveries will get underway right away. The Kawasaki Z900, Triumph Street Triple R, and BMW F900R are competitors of the Superbike Ducati Monster SP.
This Superbike has a 937cc engine installed.
It generates a maximum torque of 93 Nm at 6,500 rpm and 111 horsepower at 9,250 rpm. It is connected to a 6-speed gearbox with a quick-shifter and a slipper clutch. The Monster SP’s 43 mm Ohlins upside-down forks and rear Ohlins shock absorbers are both completely adjustable, thanks to Ducati.
In terms of features, it has
a 4.3-inch color TFT instrument cluster, three riding modes, three levels of cornering ABS, eight levels of DTC, four levels of DWC, and three levels of launch control adjustment. Weight-wise, the Ducati Monster SP is 2 kg less than the normal model at 186 kg. Ducati employed a lithium-ion battery and a lighter front brake to lighten the vehicle. In addition to this, the Ohlins suspension system assisted in lightening the load.
Cost-wise, the SP version of the Monster is Rs. 3 lakhs more expensive.
The bike is now longer and the seat is 840 mm higher due to the suspension unit adjustment. The new steering damper, according to the manufacturer, enhances stability in corners and at high speeds. With the addition of the new ‘Wet’ mode, Ducati has also adjusted the riding modes.
