According to the report, Hyundai claims that it received 37,446 pre-orders for the new Ioniq 6 electric car on the very first day of pre-sales. It even beats the Kia EV6 in terms of pre-orders. At the Busan Motor Show in July of this year, the Hyundai Ioniq 6 was presented. When it comes to the cost, it is $39,000 (about Rs 31 lakh). There are two battery sizes for this electric sedan: 53.0 kWh and 77.4 kWh. Hyundai claims that this car can cover a distance of up to 610 km on a full charge.
Two drivetrain options are given in the car. One type has rear-wheel drive and a solitary motor. The other is equipped with a twin motor and all-wheel drive. According to claims, the top model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds. This electric vehicle also supports fast charging, which enables a 10-to-80 percent recharge in just 18 minutes.
