The revised Ninja 650 bike from Kawasaki is now available in India for the cost of Rs 7.16 lakh. It is now slightly more expensive than the previous model, which had an ex-showroom price of Rs. 7.12 lakh. It is now in compliance with the new OBD2 and emission standards. The new Kawasaki Ninja 650 resembles the previous design.
The new Kawasaki Ninja 650’s design
The design features a step-up seat with a floating tail section, twin-pod LED headlamps, a windscreen over the front apron and an underfloor exhaust that remains the same as before. It is still available with the sole Lime Green paint job and Kawasaki Racing Team decals.
Features of the New Kawasaki Ninja 650
The Kawasaki Ninja 650 comes with amenities like a smartphone connection via Kawasaki’s Rideology application, a colour TFT instrument display, LED headlights, and LED taillights. The trellis frame that supports the Ninja 650 is equipped with 41 mm telescopic front forks and a mono-shock at the back.
New wheels and tyres for a Kawasaki Ninja 650
Both wheels have disc brakes for braking, and dual-channel ABS is also present. The bike is mounted on 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres measuring 120/70 in the front and 160/60 in the back.
The new engine and gearbox for the Kawasaki Ninja 650
The 649cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that powers the Ninja 650 is still in use and is now comparable to the E20. This engine produces 64 Nm at 6,700 rpm and 67.3 horsepower at 8,000 rpm. A chain drive and a 6-speed gearbox are used to provide power to the back wheels.
