What the experts say – Kevin Moore, a famous trichologist from the UK, says that too much salt in the food definitely causes a lot of damage to the health of your hair and due to this hair fall. In an interview with British GQ, he said, ‘Eating too much salt causes sodium to build up around the hair follicles, which affects the blood circulation of the hair follicles.

Moore said, ‘Excess sodium intake makes hair dull and weak, and this is also the reason for their loss. However, too little sodium can cause problems with hair growth. He said, ‘If the thyroid is unbalanced then your hair will also be affected.

According to experts, the strength of hair depends on the vitamins and minerals present in your diet. Iron and Vitamin B5 prevent hair thinning and keep the scalp healthy while protein is essential for hair strength and shine.
