This small car will run 270 KM in 1 charge, the company’s cheapest EV sold before launch

BMW India has entered the EV space of the Indian market with the iX electric SUV and now the company is all set to launch the all-new 3-door electric Mini Cooper SE on February 24. This electric car of BMW Group will be sold. Under the name of Bharat Mini Cooper SE and the company started booking this electric car in October 2021 with a token amount of Rs 1 lakh. Mini has kept only 30 units of Electric SE in the first lot and let us tell you that all these 30 units have been sold even before the launch.

Great in design
The Mini has always been a great car in terms of design and its electric variant is going to be offered in the three-door model. With the Mini Cooper SE, a separate part has been installed on the horizontal grille, contrast color ORVMs and grille. Apart from this, the signature round-shaped headlamps with LED DRLs, new 1-inch square design alloy wheels, and LED taillights have been given in the electric car. The 2022 MINI Cooper SE is expected to get an 8.8-inch touchscreen system, Nappa leather upholstery, and a fully digital instrument cluster in the cabin.

0-100 km/h in just 7.3 seconds
With the new Mini Electric Cooper, the company is going to offer many such features which are going to be hi-tech. The new car is powered by the Cooper SE which packs a 32.6 kW-R battery pack that makes 181 bhp power and 270 Nm of peak torque. The car is very fast and can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 7.3 seconds, while it is claimed to run up to 270 km on a full charge. This electric car can be charged with 11 kW and 50 kW chargers and both these chargers can charge the car battery from 0-80 percent in 2.5 hours and 35 minutes respectively.
