In India, consumer electronics company Thomson has introduced two new, reasonably priced Mini LED TVs with 65-inch and 75-inch screens. According to Thomson, these TVs are the first in India to have a six-speaker setup (108W) and two built-in subwoofers. Additionally, all of these are made in India. Let’s learn more about them.
Price and availability
On July 17, 2025, Flipkart will be the only place to purchase the new Mini LED TVs. The cost of the 65-inch model is Rs 61,999 (Rs 64,999 after the promotion period). On the other hand, the 75-inch model costs Rs 95,999.
Features of Thomson Mini LED TV series
These televisions combine IPS LCD base models with a mini LED backlight and a quantum dot color converter layer. Both versions offer full array local dimming and have 540 local dimming zones. The TVs include panels with a maximum brightness of 1500 nits, a contrast ratio of 100,000:1 (with local dimming), and the ability to produce 1.1 billion color combinations. With two sky-firing subwoofers among the six speakers, the audio output is 108W.
These Mini LED TVs, which run the most recent version of Google TV, have voice search, personalized content suggestions, and more than 10,000 apps, including JioCinema, Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube. Apple AirPlay and Chromecast are also integrated onto the TVs.
Gamer-friendly features like Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Auto-Low Latency Mode (ALLM), and 120Hz MEMC are included with these TVs. Two USB ports, three HDMI connectors (with ARC and CEC), Bluetooth 5.0, and dual-band Wi-Fi are among the connectivity choices. A MediaTek CPU, Mali-G52 GPU, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage power them.
