As of October 1, the Yamuna Expressway toll has risen. The toll fee has been raised by up to 12 percent by the Yamuna Highway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), which is responsible for maintaining the highway. We would like to inform you that the Yamuna Expressway toll charge will rise after three years.
The toll tax went up on October 1.
The toll tax has been maintained distinct for each kind of vehicle. According to the revised rate, toll tax for automobiles, jeeps, and light motor vehicles traveling on the Yamuna Expressway would be payable beginning October 1 for Rs 2.95 per kilometer as opposed to Rs 2.60. Similarly, two and three-wheelers and registered tractors will have to pay toll tax at the rate of Rs 1.50 per kilometer instead of Rs 1.25.
Now the toll tax on the Yamuna Expressway
for buses and trucks will be Rs 4.60 per kilometer instead of Rs 4.15 per kilometer. Â For heavy vehicles, the toll tax will now be Rs 14.25 per kilometer instead of Rs 12.90 per kilometer. The toll levy for large cars will now be Rs 14.25 per kilometer rather than Rs 12.90. On the other hand, instead of paying Rs 16.60 per kilometer in toll duty, big trucks would now be required to pay Rs 18.35 per kilometer.
Yamuna Expressway,
is a six-lane motorway that links Agra and Noida. This highway connects several major cities in western Uttar Pradesh, including Mathura and Aligarh. Instead of taking four hours to reach Agra, this expressway takes 2.30 hours.
