Toyota HyRyder CNG Car- The CNG segment is hot in India right now. And Toyota HyRyder CNG will be the first CNG SUV available in India. The car will get a Maruti 1.5-litre K15C engine.
HyRyder CNG –
Toyota a Japanese automaker just launched its first factory-fitted CNG car in India that is of the Glanza CNG. With the launch of Glanza CNG, the company also announced the popular Toyota Urban Cruiser HyRyder. A midsize SUV in India would also get the CNG version. The booking of the HyRyder CNG has already started. And one can book it with a token amount of Rs 25,000.
The HyRyder CNG will use Maruti’s engine as the car’s powerhouse. This engine produces 88hp and 121.5Nm of torque when powered by CNG but Toyota has yet to reveal the power figures of HyRyder CNG. The company has announced that the CNG variant of HyRyder will only get a 5-speed manual transmission option which will deliver a. approx. mileage of 26.10 km/kg.
Toyota HyRyder CNG Car Features and Price –
The price of HyRyder CNG is currently unknown but according to the company the HyRyder CNG will only be offered in mid-spec S and G trims of the SUV. Some of the features provided in the HyRyder CNG are – a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ambient lighting, 6 airbags, full-LED headlamps, and 17- inch alloy wheels. Seeing the launch of Toyota HyRyder CNG, Maruti may also introduce the CNG version of its Grand Vitara.
Maruti Grand Vitara is based on Toyota HyRyder and the petrol version of the Grand Vitara also gets the option of Hybrid technology which helps increase the car’s power and mileage. With Strong Hybrid technology, the Grand Vitara SUV gives a mileage of up to 28 Kmpl which makes it the highest mileage-giving SUV in the country.
