Under the Maruti Suzuki and Toyota collaboration, the vehicles are shared. Maruti Suzuki just introduced the MPV Maruti Invicto, which is based on the Toyota Innova Highcross. The Toyota Ertiga, a rebadged Maruti Ertiga, has just been released. Toyota Rumion is the name of it. The African markets are now receiving this MPV. The unique feature is that this model was exclusively produced in India. Let’s examine its characteristics and design.
The MPV has a redesigned bumper and a new front grille
The lower bumper has been updated with new fog lamp housings and a chrome strip around the radiator grille. The front grille is comparable to the Innova Crysta. The MPV is unaltered on the side. However, it has unique dual-tone alloy wheels. With the exception of the new emblem, the back of the automobile has not changed. With the exception of the badging, the interiors feature the same dashboard design as the Ertiga. The same colour pattern is used in the seating arrangement as well.
Toyota Rumion in terms of the powertrain
Rumian features the same 1.5-litre NA petrol engine that makes 103 horsepower and 138 Nm of torque. Both a 4-speed automatic and a 5-speed manual gearbox will be paired with the engine. Three variations of the Toyota Rumian will be offered: S, SC, and TX. While the SX and TX variants provide both manual and automatic gearbox options, the S model only comes with a manual gearbox.
