On April 3, 2024, Toyota will introduce the Urban Cruiser Taisor, a new crossover. Before the launch, the corporation has now formally released a teaser that shows a small portion of the SUV. This is just a rebadged, slightly modified Maruti Suzuki Fronx. It will have some exterior and interior cosmetic upgrades. It will, however, share other mechanicals, including the engine, with the French.
It might not look the same from the front as the fronx.
The Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor has a redesigned grille and a few other small tweaks that align with Toyota’s design philosophy. It is anticipated that the sides will not change from the front. There are, however, a few little design adjustments on the back. The cabin and most of the features will be taken from the fronts only. It has a lot of goodies, including a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 360-degree camera, automated climate control, and a heads-up display. It comes equipped with dual front airbags, ABS, EBD, and seat-belt warning as standard.
It will receive the same choices for petrol engines as Fronx.
This indicates that a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated and a 1.0-liter turbocharged engine will be available. The 1.2-liter engine produces 113 Nm of torque and 89 horsepower. The 1.0-liter engine can produce 148 Nm of torque and 99 horsepower at the same time.
Both engines
have the option of coming standard with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Additionally, the business may provide a 6-speed torque converter automatic and a 5-speed AMT unit with a 1.2-liter engine.
