Google Gemini: If your Android phone has Google Gemini installed, you’ve got a fantastic new function. Gemini can now transform your average images into a dramatic 8-second film in a matter of minutes, complete with audio.
According to Google’s blog, this new feature is built on top of their potent video generating model Veo 3, which not only gives the image life but also animates it. This allows you to “bring to life” everyday things, nature photos, and paintings.
Just 3 easy steps to create video from photo
Open Gemini and tap on the + icon
To begin, launch Google Gemini on your Android device, then touch the ‘+’ button at the bottom of the screen to add any photo you choose.
Tell me what you want
In the text box below the uploaded photo, specify what action you want to happen with that photo. For example – “The cat should jump on the mouse”, or “The clouds in the sky should move and the birds should keep flying.”
Tap on the send button and wait for a few seconds
Now simply press the transmit button and give Gemini some time to work. It will create an 8-second 720p HD video in 1 to 2 minutes, which you may share or download.
How is the prepared video?
The videos are in MP4 format and have an aspect ratio of 16:9. Each video is identified as AI-generated by both an invisible SynthID digital watermark and a clearly visible AI-generated watermark.
However, this service is being rolled out in select regions starting on July 11 and has already begun for Google AI Pro and Ultra customers. You might need to wait a little while if you are not currently viewing this option.
