Process for verifying a Twitter user: A report says that Twitter will modify its verification procedure. Users may be charged between $4.99 and $19.99 per month for blue badges.

Process for Verifying Users on Twitter: Twitter is planning to alter its user verification procedure. On Sunday, Elon Musk provided this information. ‘Right now the entire verification procedure is being radically changed,’ he claimed in a tweet. He didn’t provide any facts in this context in depth, though.

According to Platformer, who was quoted by the news agency Reuters, Twitter is thinking about collecting a charge to authenticate an account holder’s account and grant a blue tick. Twitter users may have to pay $ 4.99, or roughly Rs 415, every month to keep the blue tick or to have their account verified, according to the article.

Chief Twit Elon Musk has not yet made a final decision in this matter, therefore the entire project is still up to rejection. The company claims that it’s feasible that Twitter Blue will include the verification.

The Verge reported that Twitter might raise Blue’s monthly subscription fee. Through this, users can also be verified. According to internal communication cited by The Verge, the monthly cost may be anything between $4.99 and $19.99.

In June of last year, Twitter Blue was introduced. Users of Twitter Blue receive special monthly subscriptions and the option to edit their tweets. However, when Elon Musk polled the public in April about the topic, 70% of respondents said they thought tweets should be edited. After that, some users were given the option to modify tweets at the start of this month.
