Seven years later, the Uttar Pradesh LT Teacher Vacancy 2025 recruitment has been made public in order to fill the open Assistant Teacher positions in the state. The brief announcement states that the application procedure for this position will begin on July 18 and end on August 28, 2025. Through this recruiting, 7666 open positions will be filled.

A notification for the state’s Assistant Teacher, Trained Graduate Category Examination 2025 (UP LT Grade Teacher recruitment) was released by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC). The statement states that the online application procedure will begin on July 28 and run through August 28, 2025, the deadline for this recruitment.

Recruitment Details
The notification states that this recruitment will fill 7666 positions in total. Of these, government schools will fill 2525 positions for the female branch and 4860 positions for the male branch. In addition, 81 positions under Divyaangjan Empowerment will be filled.
Eligibility & Criteria
A comprehensive notification detailing the educational requirements for this position will be released today. This recruitment will be open to candidates pursuing a B.Ed. and a degree in a relevant field. For several subjects, B.Ed. students are exempt.
Aside from this, the candidate must be at least 21 years old and no older than 40; in other words, they must not have been born before July 2, 1985, or after July 1, 2024. According to the regulations, candidates from reserved categories will receive a waiver in the upper age limit.
Recruitment is happening after 7 years
We would like to inform you that, after seven years, UP has completed the hiring process for LT grade teacher positions. Recruitment for 10768 open positions was completed earlier in 2018.
How will the selection be done
This time, the commission has modified the recruitment’s selection procedure. This time, candidates must pass the preliminary exam before being chosen.
