Upcoming Electric Vehicle: In India, the German carmaker Mercedes-Benz is increasing its selection of electric vehicles. The company will shortly introduce a second new electric vehicle on the market. The all-electric Mercedes-Benz EQB will soon be released by the manufacturer. EQS 53 4MATIC+ and Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 4MATIC were introduced by Mercedes-AMG before this.
The Mercedes-Benz GLB SUV platform serves as the foundation for the future EQB model. The SUV receives Mercedes’ recognizable EQ grille, which is completed in black and features the company logo in the middle. To distinguish it from its fuel counterpart, the front grille has a strip across it that connects the headlights from both sides. Mercedes-Benz offers two versions of the EQB for sale globally: the 300 and the 350. All-wheel-drive Mercedes-Benz EQB models have one motor driving each axle. The EQB 350 produces 288 horsepower and 520 Nm of torque, whereas this 300 model motor produces 225 bhp and 390 Nm. (Mercedes Benz credit for photo)
The battery capacity for the Mercedes-Benz EQB is 66.7 kWh. It has a 407 km range on a single charge. However, its range might be a little bit smaller in the actual world. Using a DC fast charger, the battery pack can be charged up to 80% in 32 minutes, however, the 11 kW AC charger needs 5 hours and 45 minutes to fully charge the battery. When it is launched, the new Mercedes-Benz EQB will have seven seats and an interior with a grey finish and blue accents to highlight its electric drivetrain.
