The deadline for objecting to the UPSSSC PET preliminary answer key is today, September 17. Online objections are accepted from applicants, and each question will incur a price of Rs 100. The objection must be uploaded with supporting documentation.
The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has set December 17, 2025, as the deadline for submitting objections to the preliminary answer key for PET 2025. The commission has made it clear that after this deadline, no objections will be entertained. Candidates who disagree to any question in the answer key in such a scenario must submit their objection online as soon as feasible by going to the commission’s official website, upsssc.gov.in.
The steps and costs involved in submitting an objection
The UPSSSC states that the sole way to file an objection is online. Each objection will incur a cost of Rs 100, which must be paid online. Additionally, candidates may object to more than one question. The contestant must pay Rs 100 each question for this as well. Candidates must log in to the website using their registration number, roll number, and birthdate in order to file an objection. In addition, the candidate will need to upload the pertinent objection-related papers. Additionally, the commission has said unequivocally that objections submitted by email, postal mail, or any other method would not be accepted.
A total of 19.42 lakh applicants took the test.
Two shifts of the UPSSSC PET 2025 written exam were held on September 6 and 7. Approximately 19.42 lakh applicants took the test. In contrast, almost 25.32 lakh applicants applied for it. The exam consisted of 100 questions in total. The marking scheme states that each right response carries one mark, while each incorrect response carries a 0.25 mark deduction.
What is the next step?
The subject panel specialists will review the objections submitted by the candidates. On the basis of this inquiry, the final solution key will be created. This final answer key will also be used to release the PET 2025 results at the same time. For the following three years, qualified applicants will be allowed to apply for various Group C recruitments since the PET score is valid for three years.
