If you are one of the recipients of PM Kisan Yojana, then you will be pleased to hear this news. Regarding the central government’s PM Kisan Nidhi plan, which offers financial support to farmers, a significant update has been released. During Navratri, the government would deposit Rs 2000 into the bank accounts of nine crore farmers nationwide. The government has declared the date of the release of PM Kisan Yojana eighteenth installment.
On October 5, funds will be deposited into the farmers’ accounts.
On October 5, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to distribute the eighteenth tranche of farmers’ compensation, according per the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi website. The central government offers financial support of six thousand rupees under this program annually to the poor farmers of the country. This money is transferred directly to their bank account through DBT. This installment is given to the farmers in three installments of Rs 2,000 each.
The scheme was started in 2019
The government launched the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in 2019. The farmers receive their money immediately into their bank accounts as part of the arrangement. Completing the eKYC is a requirement for all farmers who are PM Kisan beneficiaries. Only until e-KYC has verified your identification will the money be deposited into your account. By using an OTP or by using your finger, fingerprint, or face print at a CSC center, you can authenticate your identity online. It could be difficult for those without PM Kisan e-KYC to make use of the program’s benefits. The PM Kisan portal is where you can finish the e-KYC process with the help of OTP through your mobile number and UID card. If this is not possible, you can also complete e-KYC by visiting the nearest Common Service Center (CSC).
The entire system of PM Kisan Yojana
is between the government and the farmer. In this, after releasing the fund, the government transfers it directly to the farmer’s account through banks. This helps in curbing corruption. Earlier, the 17th installment of the scheme was released by the government in July. How to do eKYC
> OTP-based e-KYC (available on the PM-Kisan portal and mobile app)
> Biometric-based e-KYC, available at Common Service Center (CSC) and State Service Center (SSK)
> Face authentication-based eKYC, available on the PM Kisan mobile app which is used by millions of farmers.
