The Renault-Nissan joint venture has resolved in February 2023. To invest over Rs 4000 crores to improve its presence in India. A total of 6 new models will be introduced in the domestic market under this new future plan. The alliance’s flagship product is the upcoming Renault 7 seater Duster. Whose first-generation vehicle launched the Renault nameplate in the nation in 2013.
The second-generation model of the Duster was not presented here
hence this will be the third generation vehicle. The most recent development was the discovery of the test mule for the impending next-generation Duster. While it was being driven. The spy photos show that the Dacia Bigster Concept SUV, which was scheduled to be unveiled in 2021, served as inspiration for its design. The SUV comes in two 5- and 7-seater variations and is built on the CMF-B modular chassis.
The corporation will increase its market share by competing against these autos.
The Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, VW Taigun, MG Astor, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara are among the vehicles that the 5-seater variant will compete with. The seven-seat SUV will compete with models like the Mahindra XUV700, Hyundai Alcazar, MG Hector Plus, and others.

Models with 5 and 7 seats could look different from one another. The new Renault Duster will be bigger than the existing model, giving it undoubtedly a more appealing road presence. In spite of this, the SUV enjoys a cult following in India and is credited with creating the mid-size SUV market.
