The charity intends to produce a movie about the five-hundred-year battle for the Ram temple. Doordarshan is producing the movie. Amitabh Bachchan, a famous actor in Bollywood, will provide the movie with his voice. Prasun, a well-known author and the chairman of the Film Censor Board, has been tasked with bringing the 500-year history of Ram Mandir to the general public. With him, a six-person team will be working. There is no price associated with the job being done by Amitabh and Prasoon Joshi.

Chronology of the Ayodhya case

  • In 1528, Babur constructed the Babri Masjid, a mosque. Hindus believe that this is where Lord Rama was born.
  • Hindus claim that the mosque was constructed in 1853 by destroying the Lord Rama temple. Hindus and Muslims engaged in the first incident of violence because of the problem.
  • In order to allow separate prayers for Muslims and Hindus in the inner and outside premises of the disputed area, the British administration built a barbed wire barrier in 1859.
  • The case originally came before the court in 1885. Mahant Raghubar Das requested permission to erect a Ram temple close to the Babri Masjid. In an appeal to the Faizabad court.
  • On December 23, 1949, a group of 50 or more Hindus purportedly set up an idol of Lord Ram in the mosque’s center. Hindus began to routinely worship there after that. Muslims ceased performing the Namaz.
  • Gopal Singh Visharad appealed to the Faizabad court on January 16, 1950, requesting a special permit to worship Ramlala.
  • On December 5, 1950, Mahant Paramhans Ramchandra Das filed a lawsuit to maintain Ramamurthy in the Babri Masjid. Allow Hindu prayers to continue. The mosque is known as “Dhancha.”
  • Nirmohi Akhara initiates a lawsuit on December 17th, 1959, to have the contested location transferred.
  • The Uttar Pradesh Sunni Waqf Board files a lawsuit on December 18 seeking ownership of the Babri Masjid.
  • The VHP launched a campaign in 1984 to unlock the Babri Masjid, free Ram’s birthplace, and construct a sizable temple. A committee was established.
  • Hindus are permitted to worship at the contentious location, according to the Faizabad district judge on February 1. The locks were once more unlocked. The Babri Masjid Action Committee was established by angry Muslims in protest.
