A new Shadow Edition from MINI Countryman Cooper S JCW (John Cooper Works), has been released with an MSRP of Rs 49 lakh (ex-showroom). Only 24 of these special edition models, assembled locally at the BMW Group facility in Chennai, have been designated for the Indian market. It has begun to be booked. This special edition sports hatchback’s exterior has been completely covered in black. And the roof and mirror caps are molten silver. On the bonnet scoop decals, front fender decals, side scuttles, door entry sills, roof rails, and roof above the C-pillars, it has Shadow Edition stickers. 18-inch grip spoke alloy wheels are on it.

MINI Countryman Cooper S JCW Features

The Countryman Cooper S JCW Shadow Edition comes with a number of features. Including a panoramic glass sunroof, an 8.8-inch circular instrument panel, Apple CarPlay, an integrated navigation system, wireless charging, and Harman Kardon Hi-Fi audio system. Front and passenger airbags, brake assistance, dynamic stability control (DSC), cornering brake control, and run-flat indicator are all included in the safety package.

MINI Countryman Cooper S JCW Performance and Engine

A 2-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine with TwinPower Turbo technology has been employed to power the Mini Shadow Edition. It produces 280 Nm at 1,350–4,600 rpm and 176 horsepower at 5,000–6,000 rpm. In terms of performance, the Shadow Edition can reach 100 kmph from 0 in 7.5 seconds. Its maximum speed is 225 km/h.

Drive Modes and Gearboxes

The gearbox is handled by a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox. To make the driving experience more interesting, it also incorporates paddle shifters behind the steering wheel. There are three different drive modes available: Green, Standard, and Sport.
