The list of holidays for July 2022 has been issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). This list indicates that banks will be closed for a total of 16 days in July.
RBI divided holidays into three categories
The Bank Holiday List has been classified into three categories by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). (Bank holidays in July 2022) This includes the Negotiable Instruments Act, Real Time Gross Settlement Holiday, and Bank of Accounts. All Sundays as well as the second and fourth Saturdays of each month are state-specific holidays in addition to the federal ones. Please inform us of the days in July when the banks will be closed.

On July 1, banks in Bhubaneswar and Imphal will be closed for the Kang (Rathjatra) / Rath Yatra.

6 July 2022 – Wednesday – MHIP Day – Mizoram
July 7: Kharchi Puja in Agartala – Banks closed
July 9: Saturday (second Saturday of the month), Eid-ul-Adha (Bakrid)
10 July: Sunday (weekly holiday)
July 11: Iz-ul-Aza-Jammu and Srinagar banks closed
July 13: Bhanu Jayanti- Gangtok Bank closed
14 July: Ben Dienkhlam – Shillong Bank closed
July 16: Harela-Dehradun bank closed
17 July: Sunday (weekly holiday)
July 23: Saturday (fourth Saturday of the month)
24 July: Sunday (weekly holiday)
26 July: Ker Puja- Banks closed in Agartala
31 July: Sunday (weekly holiday)
