- Due to Krishna Janmashtami, banks will be closed on September 6, 2023, in Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Patna.
- Because of Krishna Janmashtami, banks will be closed on September 7 in Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Gangtok, Telangana, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Lucknow, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Shimla, and Srinagar.
- On September 9, 2023, banks nationwide will experience a second
- Saturday will not be open
- Due to Sunday, banks will be closed nationwide on September 10th, 2023.
- On September 17, 2023, Due to Sunday, all banks in the country will be closed.
- Banks will stay closed on September 18, 2023, in Bengaluru and Telangana in observance of Vinayak Chaturthi. On September 19, 2023, in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bhubaneswar, Mumbai, Nagpur, and Panaji in observance of Ganesh Chaturthi.
- Due to Ganesh Chaturthi and Nuakhai, banks in Kochi and Bhubaneswar will stay closed on September 20, 2023.
- Due to Narayana Guru Samadhi Day, banks in Kochi, Panaji, and Trivandrum will stay closed on September 22, 2023.
- Due to Fourth Saturday, banks will be closed nationwide on September 23, 2023.
- On September 24, 2023, all banks in the nation will be closed since it is a Sunday.
- On September 25, 2023, banks in Guwahati will be closed because it is Srimanta Sankardev’s birth anniversary.
- Due to Milad-e-Sharif, banks will be closed on September 27, 2023, in Jammu, Kochi, Srinagar, and Trivandrum.
- Banks will be closed on September 28, 2023, in Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Belapur, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chennai, Dehradun, Telangana, Imphal, Kanpur, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Raipur, and Ranchi due to Eid-e-Milad.
- For Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi on September 29, 2023, banks in Gangtok, Jammu, and Srinagar will be closed.
