At the end of February, the Central Contract list was made public by the BCCI. While numerous young players were included in this list, the board did not include any veterans. BCCI has now informed Dhruv Jurel and Sarfaraz Khan of good news as well. In the recent Test series against England, both players performed admirably at bat. In this series, Sarfaraz and Jurel played three test matches each, marking their debuts.

List of names in Group-C

Young players Sarfaraz Khan and Dhruv Jurel met the requirement of participating in three Test matches, which caused the BCCI to make this decision. The two batsmen were part of Group C. During the March 18 BCCI Apex Council meeting, the board verified the identities of both. Now both the players will be given Rs 1 crore annually by the board. After the series against England, Dhruv Jurel is all set to make his mark in IPL 2024.

The list contains 32 names.

The BCCI revealed the list of the thirty players included in the central contract. This complete list now contains the names of thirty-two players. Stars like Ishan Kishan, Shreyas Iyer, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, and Yuzvendra Chahal remained a major problem among the players who were not on the contract list. As a result, the board had to face criticism as well. But this fire is extinguished now.

Jurel Sarfaraz bats quite well.

Sarfaraz Khan and Dhruv Jurel played outstanding batting in the Test series against England. After a lengthy wait, Sarfaraz Khan was able to make his Team India debut. In his first game, he scored two half-centuries in a row. Sarfaraz amassed three fifty-centuries in 3 tests. Whereas, if we talk about Dhruv Jurel, the young player proved to be the trouble-shooter of Team India in the Ranchi Test. Jurel played brilliant innings of 90 and 39 runs in this match and contributed significantly to the victory of Team India.
