Indians were given a gift before the start of the new year. For a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder, Oil Marketing Company is offering a price reduction. A 19-kilogram commercial LPG cylinder now costs just Rs 39 less. In Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai, the cost of a commercial cylinder was Rs 1796.50, Rs 1749, Rs 1908, and Rs 1968.50. This price has now dropped by 39 rupees. Remember, too, that the prices for domestic LPG cylinders have not changed.

Recognize that the consumers will benefit once the 19 kg LPG cylinder’s price is reduced by Rs 39. Now, a commercial cylinder in Delhi would cost Rs 1757.50, whereas in Kolkata, Rs 1710 in Mumbai, and Rs 1929.50 in Chennai. The oil marketing company has given this discount even before the Christmas festival and New Year celebrations.
Price adjustment for commercial LPG cylinders
We would like to inform you that the pricing of the 19-kilogram LPG cylinder was altered on December 1. Subsequently, the cylinder’s price went up by Rs 21. On November 16, however, the cost of a commercial cylinder was discounted by Rs 57. Commercial LPG cylinder prices have been fluctuating nearly every month for a while now. Cylinder rates have undergone numerous revisions.
Has the domestic cylinder’s pricing changed?
On the other hand, since August, the price of home cylinders has remained the same. The cost of a household cylinder was last lowered by Rs 200 on August 30, 2023. As stated by the website of Indian Oil, the domestic cylinder is priced at Rs 903 in Delhi, Rs 929 in Kolkata, and Rs 902.50 in Mumbai.
