In India, BMW unveiled the all-new 5 Series LWB. This is the company’s third long-wheelbase sedan to arrive in India. Formerly, the Indian market offered the BMW 3 Gran Limousine and 7 Series. In India, this vehicle directly competes with the Mercedes E-Class long-wheelbase.
Dimensions of the BMW 5 Series LWB
Comparing this generation of the BMW 5 Series to the previous one, the length has increased to 5,175mm, the width to 1,900mm, and the height to 1,520mm. These measurements represent significant increases. Additionally, its wheelbase has been elongated to 3,105mm, surpassing that of the Mercedes E-Class of the upcoming generation. This new car’s design is known by BMW as the 2.5-box design. An attempt has been made to resemble a coupe more with this design. Given the size of the car, the 18-inch alloy wheels that BMW installed seem a little undersized.
The back passengers of this 5 Series LWB
also have access to a touchscreen that controls the temperature. You also receive a wireless phone charger on the rear in addition to this. Excellent Matrix LED headlights, an 18-speaker, 655W Bowers & Wilkins sound system, and six USB-C ports are included with the car.
In addition,
ADAS has been enhanced over the previous version. Speaking of the front, there are two curved displays there, one being a 14.9-inch touchscreen and the other being a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display. On July 24, the BMW 5 Series LWB will go on sale. In addition, its pricing is anticipated to be more than that of the model from the previous generation.
