Due to an ongoing backlog, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has formally acknowledged that it has momentarily suspended accepting reservations for the Rumion CNG variant. Toyota unveiled the rebadged Maruti Ertiga last month, and prices were formally disclosed earlier this month. ‘The all-new Toyota Rumion was launched in August of this year and has gotten an overwhelmingly positive response from the customers,’ the company claimed. The brand-new Toyota Rumion has received strong reservations, which excites the firm.

In addition, the business noted in its statement that “Demand has exceeded our expectations, resulting in longer delivery times for all variants, particularly the e-CNG option.” In this case, it was necessary to temporarily halt e-CNG option booking in order to minimize client annoyance. However, Toyota is still accepting reservations for the MPV’s petrol-powered (NeoDrive) models.

S, G, and V are the three trim levels that are offered. After the Innova Crysta and Innova HiCross, the Rumion is the third MPV in the lineup from the Japanese automaker. It is based on the Maruti Ertiga, on which it shares specifications, features, and a design. However, only the base S trim of the Rumion is offered in the CNG variant

Toyota Rumion Engine
The Rumian CNG is equipped with a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder engine that produces 121.5 Nm and 87 horsepower. There is only a 5-speed manual gearbox available. The engine in the petrol variant produces 102 horsepower and 137 Nm, and a 6-speed automatic transmission is an option.
