In the Frontal Deformable Offset Barrier test as well as the full-width Rigid Barrier test, the Atto 3 provided good or sufficient protection for both driver and passengers. To use the rear-facing child safety seat while seated, the front passenger airbag can be turned off. However, due to the lack of an integrated CRS (Child Restraint System), it lost some points, scoring a total of 44 out of 49, or 89 percent.

The Atto 3 didn’t perform as well in terms of pedestrian safety, scoring as much as 69 percent out of 72, or 37.5. The protection provided by the bonnet to the heads of pedestrians was good or sufficient, with some poor areas on the stern windscreen pillars. The bumper provided good protection to the feet of the pedestrians but the protection of the pelvic region was almost entirely poor.

The Atto 3’s Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) system as well as the Lane Support System performed well in most test scenarios, scoring 74 percent or 12 out of 16 in safety assist systems.
