BYD Atto 3 Unveil BYD’s new electric SUV Atto 3 unveiled in India, know what’s special

BYD Atto 3 Electric SUV: Chinese electric vehicle maker BYD (Build Your Dream) has today unveiled its new electric SUV Atto 3 (Atto 3) in India. This is the company’s second car in India. Earlier, the company brought one of its electric MPV E6 in the Indian market. In the country, this car will compete with MG ZS EV and Hyundai Kona EV. The car will arrive in the country on the SKD (semi-knocked down) route, which will be produced by BYD at its Sriperumbudur plant near Chennai.

How is the powertrain?

The Atto 3 packs a 60.49kWh battery. This battery pack has been claimed to have a range of 521 km. A permanent magnet synchronous electric motor has been used in this car, which is capable of generating 201bhp maximum power and 310Nm torque. This car accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in just 7.3 seconds.

The EV features a 5-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.8-inch rotating touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, a 4-way adjustable front passenger seat, driver and front passenger heated seats, a seat belt reminder system, a 6-way feature. Power adjustable driver seat, Hill descent control, 6 airbags, Automatic climate control, 360-degree camera, Traction control system, Tire pressure monitoring system, PM 2.5 air filter, Synthetic leather seat, Wireless phone charging, Panoramic sunroof, Rear parking sensors, Electronic And many features like speed alert system, electronic stability program, anti-lock braking system with brake-force distribution, level 2 ADAS system, flat-bottom steering with mounted controls are provided.

How much will be the price?

The prices of this car will be revealed in January 2023.
