India has gained recognition around the world thanks to Indigo Airline and Coimbatore Airport. Indigo Airlines and Coimbatore Airport are among the top 20 on-time airports and airlines in the world, respectively. Indigo is ranked 15th in terms of on-time performance (OTP) in 2022, while Coimbatore Airport is ranked 13th, according to a survey by aviation analytics company OAG. According to the research, these are the only airports and airlines from India to appear on both lists.
On Wednesday
the OAG Punctuality League report was made public. According to the survey, among the top 20 on-time airlines in the world, Indigo is placed 15th in 2022 with an OTP of 83.51%. Indigo, the largest airline in the nation, and the public Coimbatore airport have been ranked among the world’s 20 most punctual airlines and airports.
In 2022, Indigo is ranked 15th in terms of punctuality
by the aviation company OAG, while Coimbatore Airport is ranked 13th. IndiGo was classified as the sole Indian airline and Coimbatore Airport, operated by the Airports Authority of India (AAI), as the sole Indian airport in the OAG report released on Wednesday.
In 2022, Indigo will be ranked 15th among
the world’s 20 most punctual airlines. In 2019, the airline had the 54th spot. Garuda Indonesia is at the top of the list. Followed by Saffire and Eurowings in the second and third spots, respectively.
In a similar vein, Coimbatore Airport came in at number thirteen among the most punctual airports. The top spot on this ranking belongs to Osaka International Airport in Japan.
