For individuals who have a Bank of Baroda account, there is excellent news. If you also have an account with this government bank, the bank Monday sent its clients some wonderful news. Publicly traded Bank of Baroda (BOB) has announced the launch of its Cardless Cash Withdrawal (ICCW) service, which allows users to use UPI to make cash withdrawals from the bank’s ATMs.
Bank of Baroda issued a statement.
BOB said in a statement that it is the first bank in the public sector to offer UPI-enabled cash withdrawals from ATMs. The bank said that by utilizing its ICCW service, both its clients and the customers of other participating banks who use BHIM UPI (UPI) and other UPI applications will be able to withdraw money from ATMs.
Will be able to use an ATM to get cash
Customers won’t require a debit card to use the ATM at Bank of Baroda to make cash withdrawals. The customer must choose the ‘UPI Cash Withdrawal’ option at the Bank of Baroda ATM in order to use this service. A QR code will then appear on the ATM screen after the user has entered the desired withdrawal amount.
Let us inform you that in order to complete the transaction
this code must be scanned using the approved UPI app for ICCW. The launch of the ICCW service, according to the bank’s chief digital officer Akhil Handa, will enable customers the ability to withdraw cash without using a card.
At BOB ATMs, a withdrawal of Rs. 5,000 can be made. Customers are limited to two transactions per day and a daily withdrawal limit of Rs. 5,000.
