If someone’s pet dog bites another person, then a fine of Rs 10,000 will have to be paid. People have until January 31 to register pet dogs and cats.
After that, the process of imposing fines will begin on February 1 of 2023. Important dog policy-related things
1. Pet dogs will need to be sterilized and vaccinated against rabies.
If this is not done, the owner will be fined two thousand rupees per month starting in February.
Feeding locations in the outdoor area will be marked according to need where it will be mandatory to erect an information board.
This arrangement will be made by RWA and AOA.
2. Breeding activities are not permitted in apartments or houses.
If this is discovered, a penalty of Rs 5,000 will be enforced. After registration, a one-time code must be provided, and the pet must wear the geo-tagging bar code around its neck.
3. Following registration, it must also be renewed annually for a fee of Rs 1000.
If the dog leaves waste in a public area, the owner will be fined Rs 100 in the first occurrence, Rs 200 in the second instance, and Rs 500 in the third case.
