Due to several local and national holidays in July, banks will be closed for a total of twelve days. By the Negotiable Instruments Act, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has declared July 3, 6, 8, 9, 16, and 17 to be bank holidays. The issue of promissory notes and checks is covered by the Negotiable Instruments Act. During the holidays, transactions involving these instruments won’t be accessible.
