Hyundai Stargazer: Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Toyota Innova are the first things that come to mind whenever MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) is talked about in India. Because the Innova is so expensive, if we’re talking about MPVs that cost Rs. 10 lakh or less, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga will be the most in-demand vehicle. However, there is another car from the same segment, which is not currently present in India but could be brought to India soon. This car is Hyundai’s stargazer. The Hyundai Stargazer is an MPV that was recently unveiled in Indonesia and will now be publicly unveiled at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) on 11 August 2022.

The price of the model starts from IDR 243,300,000 (approx Rs 12.97 lakh) up to IDR 307,100,000 (approx Rs 16.37 lakh). If we talk about India, then it will compete directly with Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. In addition, it will compete with the Kia Carens, which was introduced this year. Hyundai may bring it to make a mark in the MPV segment in India. The new Hyundai MPV in Indonesia will only be launched with the 1.5L MPI petrol engine. Its engine can give power of 115bhp. Both a 6-speed manual and an IVT (CVT) automatic gearbox are compatible with it.

Features like gloss black elements and brushed silver accents along with the dashboard and ambient lighting add to its premium appeal. ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) is anticipated to be included to the new Hyundai Stargazer, making it safer.
