Recruitment is being accepted for 260 positions of Sailor (General Duty) with the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) through the Coast Guard Enrolled Personnel Test (CGEPT) 02/2024. From February 06, 2024, to February 13, 2024, qualified applicants may register online for the hiring process at joinIndiancoastguard.cdac.in, the ICG’s official recruiting portal.

Qualifications for Education

10+2 pass from a board of education recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) with math and physics. The notice makes it clear that during the online application procedure, candidates must accurately complete the subject numbers on their mark sheet for every topic. Incorrect or missing numbers could result in the candidature being canceled. The highest age is 22 years old, and the minimum is 18. Applicants for the Sailor (GD) position must be born between September 1, 2002, and August 31, 2006, inclusive. Other than this, applications are solely open to male Indian candidates.
