The Railways statement has made it simpler to purchase ordinary tickets. Indian Railways has released a revised guideline concerning the payment of general tickets as of April 1. For the thousands of rail passengers using regular tickets, this decision by the Railways will be convenient.

Reduction in the cost of purchasing train tickets

General ticket booking will be simpler for railway travelers starting today. When paying for your tickets, you won’t need to worry about coins or currency. Using UPI, purchasing tickets will be simple for you. Additionally, digital QR codes have been accepted for train payments OF general tickets from April 1. Passengers will be able to buy general tickets through UPI. It has been started at many railway stations in the country.

Every train station will begin to implement it in stages. Railways have taken this step to protect customers from lengthy lines and crowded ticket booths. At train stations, unreserved ticket desks will allow you to order tickets online by scanning. With the use of UPI apps like GooglePay and PhonePe, booking tickets will be simple. To encourage digital payments, Railways launched this. With UPI, purchasing general tickets will be simpler for customers, but the railway worker working at the ticket counter will also have an easier time managing change and currency.
