Earlier in the year, there was also news that Facebook and Instagram were preparing to integrate NFTs on their platforms. It was said in this report that such features will be given in Instagram and Facebook, under which NFT can be set in the profile itself.

Mark Zuckerberg has clarified that NFTs will come to Instagram, but it is unclear how it will be used and how the company will implement it.

It is possible that the company will launch the NFT marketplace on Instagram or Facebook. There are many websites where NFTs are sold and bought. Similarly, NFTs can be posted on both these platforms and those who wish to buy can also buy from here.

Now the problem is that the transactions done for NFT are done in cryptocurrencies. Along with bringing NFTs, the company can also start cryptocurrency transactions on its platform.

It is worth noting that the cryptocurrency payment is being tested in the instant messaging app WhatsApp. Recently, WhatsApp head Will Cathcart said that cryptocurrencies could be sent through WhatsApp in the coming times. Its testing has started.

Actually, cryptocurrencies and NFTs are only part of Meta’s Metaverse plan. The company has invested heavily in Metaverse and it is imperative for Metaverse to integrate cryptocurrencies and NFTs on its platform.
