Jeep Compass in India: Jeep India again gave a price bump to the Jeep Compass, the SUV now costs lakhs more than the launching price. The Compass gained good fame during the launching year and the next but now the Compass craze has gone down by many numbers. Jeep India is Planning to launch New SUV in India.

How Much Hike –

Jeep Compass now costs 1.20 lakh more (Ex-showroom) because Jeep India Motors has once again increased the price of the SUV. The company has increased the price of Compass for the 4th time this year and this time the increment is of the highest value. Jeep India previously increased the price of Compass in April, July, and September by values rs.25,000, rs.35,000, and rs.90,000 respectively. This time the Hike in price of Compass is Rs. 1.20lakh and now the base model of Jeep Compass will be sold for Rs. 20.89 lakh.

New Price Range of Jeep Compass –

The Company has issued a new price list for Jeep Compass variants, the base model with manual transmission of 4X2 petrol Compass will now cost Rs. 20.89 lakh (Ex-showroom) and the top model Thrillhawk 4X4 diesel with automatic transmission will cost Rs. 32.67 lakh (Ex-showroom).

Compass Engine Options–

The Jeep Compass gets two engine options, one is petrol which is a 1.4-liter turbo-petrol engine that produces 163 hp of power and 250 Nm of torque and the second one is a 2.0-liter diesel engine which produces 172 hp of power and 350 Nm of torque. The Compass also gets the option of 3 different transmissions: a 6-speed manual, a 7-speed DTC, and a 9-speed automatic.

New Upcoming SUV from Jeep India–

A launch event of Jeep India is soon going to happen in which the company will launch a new SUV, this event could happen next year. The new upcoming SUV is expected to be named Jeepster but many people are calling it the Jeep Junior as it will be the smallest vehicle in Jeep’s portfolio. The price range of this upcoming SUV is expected to be low.
