One of the most well-liked small SUVs on the Indian market is the Kia Seltos. It was given a significant makeover at the beginning of July of this year, which included new engine options, new features, and stylistic adjustments. The new Seltos ranges in price from Rs 10.90 lakh to Rs 20.30 lakh (ex-showroom). The business has now declared that the price of certain Seltos variants will drop by Rs 2,000. In actuality, the manufacturer was able to lower the price because it eliminated a function from some models.
Features eliminated from numerous variations
The 1.5-liter turbo-petrol iMT HTX+, 1.5-liter turbo-petrol DCT RX+(S), 1.5-liter turbo-petrol DCT RX+, 1.5-liter diesel iMT HTX+, and 1.5-liter diesel AT GTX+ are supposedly the vehicles that Kia has introduced. There is a Rs 2,000 price reduction on (S). The removal of the one-touch up/down capability from all four power windows in these models is most likely the cause of the price reduction.
The costs of the remaining versions remain unchanged
Prior to the HTX+ trim, this feature was available on all types. Following the most recent modification, the one-touch up and down feature for all four windows is now exclusive to the top-spec X-Line trim. One-touch up and down only for the driver’s window is available on other models.
Three choices for engines
Three engine options are available for the Kia Seltos: a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 1.5-liter diesel engine, and a 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine. There are several gearbox options available, including a 6-speed CVT automatic, a 6-speed DCT automatic, a 6-speed iMT, and a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
