New Delhi: One such car from Maruti Suzuki has been in the hearts of customers since its inception. This compact 7-seater MPV is a powerful and value-for-money option for private and fleet customers. Yes, we are talking about Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, whose company is all set to launch a new model. The 2022 Ertiga is going to be launched in the Indian market very soon and this news has increased the tension of competition. Although the company is not going to make major changes in its exterior, on the lines of 2022 Baleno, this MPV is also expected to be offered with strong features. The Maruti Ertiga facelift gets a redesigned grille, which is a black stripe connecting the taillamps.

Difficult to see changes in the new model
The changes on the new Ertiga are so minor that it would be difficult to differentiate between the existing and the new model if you take a look. The interiors of the new Ertiga facelift are yet to be seen, though minor changes can also be seen in the interior of the car in line with the exterior changes.

A new look for the interior!
We believe that the cabin may get new color upholstery and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system to refresh the interiors. Apart from this, Maruti Suzuki is going to offer features similar to the new MPV which includes a wireless phone charger, Android Auto with Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control

The current model 1.5-liter petrol engine
The Ertiga facelift will be powered by a 1.5-liter petrol engine from the current model, producing 105 PS of power, mated to a 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic gearbox. This engine comes with a mild hybrid system that offers torque assist to save petrol. The company’s plan to launch 8 new vehicles in 2022 also includes the Ertiga facelift. In India, it will compete with the Renault Triber, Mahindra Marazzo, and the upcoming Kia Carens.
