MG

A new Astor special edition model has been introduced by MG Motor. ‘Astore Blackstorm Edition’ is how it is referred to. With prices starting at Rs. 14.48 lakh for a manual gearbox and Rs. 15.77 lakh for an automatic gearbox (both ex-showroom), it is based on the mid-spec Smart trim. After the Gloster Blackstorm Edition, this is the second Blackstorm model that MG Motor has introduced in India. But the Gloster Blackstorm is built on the Savvy trim, which has the highest specification.

Launch of MG Astor Blackstorm Edition

As the nation prepares for the forthcoming holiday season, we at MG Motor India want to make sure that our customers may enjoy the most recent limited edition of Astor – Blackstorm, said Gaurav Gupta, deputy managing director of MG Motor India. Make you feel more special. In terms of appearance, the special edition receives a gloss black honeycomb pattern grille, blacked-out front and rear bumpers, gloss black roof rails, gloss black door garnish, and red brake callipers. ‘Blackstorm’ badging and black alloy wheels are also provided.

Features of the Astor Blackstorm Edition

Inside the cabin, the black and red colour scheme is maintained. JBL speakers, Sangria Red borders near the AC vents, Tuxedo Black leather with red stitching, red stitching on the dashboard and doors, and the MG Astor Blackstorm Edition are all included. iSmart linked car technology with 80+ features, cruise control, 6 speakers with tweeters, a digital car key with Bluetooth, a rear parcel shelf and a tyre pressure monitoring system are all included in the cabin. The 7-inch completely digital instrument cluster is also included. Such characteristics continue.

New electric vehicles

In addition to the Astor Blackstorm Edition, MG India apparently intends to release a brand-new electric SUV in 2025. This model will reportedly be based on the Global Small Electric Vehicle (GSEV) platform. A 68-horsepower electric motor and a 28.1 kWh lithium-ion phosphate battery might be used in its powertrain to provide a range of up to 303 km.
