It has now been announced that the brand-new Toyota Land Cruiser J250 will be available. The iconic off-roader has been given a whole new look by the Japanese carmaker, including a retro-inspired boxy stance, a flat roof, and short overhangs. Significantly, this SUV goes by the name Land Cruiser Prado in a few international countries. It will have excellent skills and a strong punch.
At Toyota Motor Corporation’s Tahara and Hino plants in Japan,
The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado will be made. The vehicle will go on sale in the US in the spring of 2019 and face off against Ford Bronco and Jeep Wrangler models. It will be more inexpensive than the Land Cruiser LC300 with a starting price of $55,000.
A 2.4L, 4-cylinder turbo engine, an electric motor,
and a 1.87kWh battery pack will make up the new Land Cruiser Prado’s powertrain system. Together, these components will produce 326bhp and 630Nm of torque. The SUV would have an automated gearbox with 8 gears. However, the mileage figure won’t be made public until the product’s launch.
The brand’s TNGA-F ladder-frame chassis is used in its construction.
It has the following dimensions: 4,920 mm long, 2,139 mm wide, and 1,859 mm high. The SUV has a 2,850 mm wheelbase and 221 mm ground clearance. The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado in 2024 will include many characteristics. Along with other features, it includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 14-speaker JBL premium music system, 4G connectivity for five devices, heated and ventilated seats, a head-up display (HUD), wireless phone charging, a sunroof, and Toyota Safety Sense 3.0.
An electronically locking rear differential,
downhill assist, crawl control, multi-terrain select system, multi-link rear suspension system, and front stabilizer bar detach system have all been added to the vehicle to improve its off-road skills.
