Hydrogen Car: Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari has introduced the option of hydrogen cars as an alternative to gasoline and diesel cars for the cities due to the rising levels of pollution in the nation.

Nitin Gadkari Hydrogen Car: Nitin Gadkari, the minister of roads and transport, has voiced serious concerns about the rising levels of pollution in urban areas. He constantly stresses the importance of driving less polluting vehicles in order to achieve this. After the Union Minister was spotted driving a hydrogen-powered vehicle lately, the nation began talking about hydrogen-powered vehicles. Sitting in this hydrogen-powered vehicle, Nitin Gadkari arrived at Parliament. Talking to the media, the Union Minister said that “This is the car of our future. But before using this car, the question arises whether the running cost of this car will be less than that of a petrol car or not?”

The Mirai is the name of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari’s vehicle. “Mirai” is a Japanese word meaning “future,” Union Minister Nitin Gadkari told reporters during an interview. The well-known automaker Toyota is the manufacturer of this Nitin Gadkari vehicle. In reference to this, Nitin Gadkari stated that hydrogen is the fuel of the future.

Data indicates that when comparing the operating costs of hydrogen and petrol vehicles, the former will be less expensive. The data shows that a hydrogen automobile costs Rs 4 to run 1 km, while a petrol car costs Rs 8 to 10 per kilometer. In this case, the cost of operating a hydrogen-powered vehicle will be nearly half that of a gasoline-powered vehicle if they are ever put on the road.

Tataaig.com predicts that hydrogen-powered vehicles would have significantly higher fuel economy than petrol vehicles. The study indicates that hydrogen-powered vehicles have a 50% efficiency rate. In contrast, only 20% of gasoline-powered vehicles are efficient.
