Three new features are apparently being rolled out by WhatsApp for beta testers. On iOS, the first feature enables the locking of particular chats. The program has also tested the ability for Android users to update Facebook friends on their WhatsApp statuses. On the most recent beta of the iOS app, beta testers can as needed test the transcription feature for recently sent voice notes. The current report states that iOS 16 is required for voice transcription capability. Give us more information on each of the three features.

A closed WhatsApp chat

Users who want more security and to keep their conversations with certain contacts private should use the locked chat feature. Currently, users can lock the entire application, but this new function enables them to lock particular chats. Will provide an easy-locking option. After tapping on a contact’s name, options for locking chats appear in the chat info window.

Updating status on Facebook

On WhatsApp, users have the option to set a status that lasts for 24 hours like an Instagram story. They are able to share text, audio, video, and photos in this status. They can now choose to post the WhatsApp status to their Facebook Stories area. They will see the Facebook icon on the screen for this after sharing the status. They only need to click the icon to share that status in their Facebook Stories after that.

Transcription of voice

It has frequently been observed that we are unable to hear the voice messages delivered over WhatsApp. This is especially true if you are in a busy area or lack privacy. It is possible to read these audio notes as text using the voice transcription feature. You won’t need to wait for private space and can skim voicemails instead of listening to them.
