On January 22, Hero MotoCorp is set to release the Maverick 440 motorcycle. This will be the business’s inaugural launch of the year. This will be Hero MotoCorp’s flagship motorcycle, sharing many parts, including the base and powertrain, with the Harley-Davidson X440. It is anticipated to be the most costly bike in Hero’s collection.
Hero Maverick 440
is expected to cost approximately Rs 2 lakh. If this occurs, the Harley-Davidson X440, which is priced between Rs 2,39,500 and Rs 2,79,500 (ex-showroom), will be a more cost-effective choice. Following its release, the 440cc Hero bike will face competition from vehicles like as the Triumph Speed 400, Royal Enfield Classic 350, and Triumph Scrambler 400X.
The 440cc, single-cylinder,
oil/air-cooled engine powering the Hero Maverick 440 generates 27 bhp of power at 6,000 rpm and 38 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. These numbers, nevertheless, could vary depending on the hero. In terms of functionality, Maverick 440 is anticipated to include some Karizma X MAG components.
Turn-by-turn navigation,
Bluetooth connectivity and a TFT screen are possible options. Additionally, it integrates with smartphones via an app that works with both Android and Apple devices. Retro-style features like the wide handlebar, bar-end mirrors, powerful fuel tank, and circular headlamp are probably on the bike. It is interesting to note that it intends to launch premium motorcycles in two distinct segments: higher premium and core premium. Maverick 440 is going to be classified as upper premium.
