Personal loans already total 40 lakh crore
and by 2023, unsecured loan growth will also be accelerating. According to data given by the RBI, personal loans rose from 33 lakh crore to 40 lakh crore in February 2023 compared to February 2022. That is, there was a 20.4% increase in it. In light of rising interest rates and inflation, the RBI is concerned about the expansion in unsecured lending.
