Bank Rules: Sometimes one has to visit the branch for less work related to the bank. Tales of employees being late in the bank are often heard. Many times, while going to the bank, the employees ask to come after lunch, and sometimes even after lunch, one has to wait for hours. If this has also happened to you, you should read this news immediately. Now, if a bank employee drives you from one place to another while you’re working, you can immediately file a complaint and pursue legal action against the offending party. For this, RBI has also established rules.

inhumane treatment of employees

Sometimes employees try to fry the work. But only if you are unaware of your rights will this occur. Customers have certain rights in relation to financial services, without which you are unable to benefit from it. In the bank, customers get many such rights, about which the customers are not aware and then the bankers take advantage of them. It is important for the bank to treat the customers properly. As per Reserve Bank of India (RBI) rules, if customers are not treated fairly and your problem is not resolved, you can complain to the Banking Ombudsman. Let us know about these rights.

Bank customers have many rights

If any bank employee delays your work or tries to fry you, then you can complain to the manager or nodal officer of that bank.
Nearly every bank offers a Grievance Redressal Forum where you can file a complaint and get it resolved.

Where to complain?

By obtaining the bank’s grievance redressal number and bringing it to the concerned employee, you can lodge a complaint with any bank that you do business with. In addition to this, you can also call the bank’s toll-free hotline and explain your issue. Additionally, some banks offer the ability to submit complaints online.

For example, State Bank of India (SBI) customers can complain about an employee of any branch on the toll-free number 1800-425-3800/1-800-11-22-11. Whereas, if you are a Punjab National Bank (PNB) customer, you can contact the customer care number of the bank or the appellate authority.
