This is your last chance to apply if you wish to work for Indian Railways. The deadline to apply for the Recruitment of Technician positions that the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has posted is today.
Candidates who wish to apply for these positions
but haven’t been able to fill out the form yet for whatever reason can apply online right now by going to the RRB’s official website, rrbapply.gov.in. We have included here all the pertinent information on the position for your convenience. This is the necessary prerequisite. Applicants for these positions must have completed their ITI or SSLC at an NCVT or SCVT-accredited school. In addition, several positions need individuals to hold a BE, B.Tech, or B.Sc degree in relevant trade.
Age Requirement
Applicants for these positions must be at least 18 years old. However, the post specifies that the maximum age is 33 or 36 years old. The age will be determined as of July 1, 2024. Â A Rs. 500 application fee is required of candidates applying for Technician positions. In contrast, candidates who identify as SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PWBD, Transgender, EWS, or women must pay an application fee of Rs 250. The form fees can be paid online by candidates.
Selection Procedure
Candidates must first take part in CBT 1 and CBT 2 as part of the recruitment selection procedure. Those who pass both of these rounds of testing will be invited to a medical exam and document verification. The candidates’ scores across all rounds will be used to create the final merit list. The chosen applicants will be placed in open positions.
