• Level 7 Tax Assistant: 4
• Grade II Stenographer, Level 1; Level 4
• Havildar – 14 – First Level

Income Tax Salary

• Tax Assistant: 25,500 to 81,100 rupees
• Rs. 25,500 – Rs. 81,100 for stenographers
• Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 56,900 for Havildar

Qualifications for Income Tax Recruitment in 2024

A degree from an accredited university or its equivalent is required for tax assistants. Must be familiar with the fundamentals of utilizing computer programs. A minimum data entry speed of 8000 is required. Data input tasks requiring 8000 key presses per hour must be completed quickly, as determined by an electronic data processing machine speed test.

• Stenographer Grade II: 12th grade or above from an accredited university or board.
• Criteria for the Skill Test: 10 minutes of dictation at 80 words per minute
• 50 minutes for transcription, 65 minutes for English, and computer time for Hindi
