The bank takes this money out of clients’ accounts each year
while providing information on their behalf. The bank has been informed that SBI is taking this money out of their accounts. This money is being taken by the bank as a maintenance fee. Only once a year is this money withdrawn from the bank. The bank tweeted information regarding this.
It appears that the bank would
deduct this amount as an 18% GST charge. A yearly recovery of Rs 125 is charged from the customers for the debit card that the bank issues.
