PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana / PM Suraksha Bima Yojana: If you are a customer of SBI, then there is news of big work for you. The country’s largest public sector bank SBI is providing insurance facilities for very less money. SBI offers coverage up to Rs 4 lakh under government schemes Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) and Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY). 342 lakhs on an annual investment of just Rs. Will get the bumper benefit of 4 lakhs
Giving this information on its Twitter handle, SBI said, ‘Insure according to your needs and live a worry-free life. The premium will be deducted from savings bank account holders via auto-debit. The individual will be able to participate in the scheme only through one savings bank account.

Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY)
The Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana provides you with a death benefit. Under this, a compensation of Rs 2 lakh is provided for the death of the insured person due to accident or complete disability, while a cover of Rs 1 lakh is provided for partial disability.
Age Limit- Any person between the age of 18 to 70 years can take cover in this.
Premium- The annual premium of this plan is also only Rs 12.

Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY)
The nominee receives Rs 2 lakh upon the death of the insured under the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana.
Age Limit- Any person between 18 to 50 years can take advantage of this scheme.
Premium- For this plan also you will have to pay an annual premium of only Rs 330.

Important information related to the scheme
This insurance cover is from 1st June to 31st May. for a full year.
For this, you need to have a bank account. Insurance can also be canceled if a bank account is closed or there is insufficient money in the account at the time of premium deduction. Please note that both these are term insurance policies.
